Things are continuing to change within the digital marketing industry and at a faster rate than ever before. The pandemic played a big part in our business growth last year and at the start of 2021 but that didn’t stop us from integrating a new service into the agency, winning awards, and striving to become the best agency in the UK.

During our Q1 meeting last week we also took the time to recognise our clients and the businesses we have worked with throughout the last 18-months and 13 years, helping them grow and increase their online visibility to generate more sales, leads and revenue.

We stripped things back to the very basics at the start of the year, realigning ourselves in what we know best. Our core services now include SEO, PPC, Paid Media and Digital PR, helping pave our way to the recent success we have experienced. It’s all down to the team and the hard work they put in each day. Not just in terms of the activity they carry out client side but how they support us internally too.

We know that there are so many opportunities left ahead of us and we can’t wait for what’s ahead.

Celebrating Our Q1 Success

A lot went down in Q1. We welcomed some awesome new clients on board, continued to grow our PR team and made some changes internally too.

We are very much advocates of our employees and want them to feel valued regardless of their role or how long they have been at the agency which is why we announced several exciting promotions across the agency.

We’re also continuing to commit to the development of our teams on both a personal and professional level through providing greater training opportunity such as Autism in the Workplace Training, MHFA Training and more.

As well as focusing on our client results, we’re also focusing on our own, with a huge push of the personal brands of our team and that of the agency. We reflect on these figures each month, taking a look back at what we achieved:

-We spent 486 hours on training.

-We earned 354 amazing pieces of PR coverage.

-Our SEO monthly book increased by 6%.

-Our PPC monthly book increased by 23%.

-We wrote 970 pieces of content (which is the equivalent to 568,730 words).

Our finance figures also speak for themselves, showcasing just how far we have come compared to the previous quarter and during Covid times:

-Our total turnover has increased by 7% compared to the last quarter.

-Our retention rate currently stands at 97%, with improvements seen in each quarter.

-Our monthly retainer business has increased by 77% since the same time last year.

-We spent £21,000 on training and a further £17,500 on the health and wellbeing of our team.

-We welcomed a further 8 team members this quarter to support our digital PR, SEO and content teams.

-We won some of our dream clients including businesses within the CBD/medical and adult space.

We are also pleased to be Great Place To Work certified, whereby we scored an impressive 96% in our team survey which is way above the national average for businesses of a similar size and are ecstatic to have won a further 5 awards at the UK Agency Awards and UK Digital Growth Awards this quarter.

We’re now gearing up to celebrate the European Agency Awards virtually, where we are nominated for a further 9 awards including Independent Agency of the Year and Most Impressive Large Agency Growth.

Welcoming 2022 With Open Arms

We’re now heading into our second quarter and are looking forward to achieving even great success over the next 3 months. We’ve already confirmed our sponsorship at Brighton SEO for 2022 following the fun we had this year – what could be next on the cards?

Here’s to our team and clients for their support!
